Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I've decided to teach.

what, exactly? How to Be an Empress? I'd totally take that class.

Let the laughter commence!!

No laughter. Okay, maybe a giggle when I think about what's going to happen to the first poor kid who gives you lip, but that's all. You're going to rock at it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Kristin, I have some extra snow I can send to you.

Aimee, what's so funny?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

what, exactly?

My Ultimate dream is to work in a community college library and teach literature classes. So I'm going to get my Bachelor's in Secondary Ed with a minor in Reading and an MLS.

You're going to rock at it.

I hope so. I'm hoping my current lit prof will help by informally mentoring me.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Aimee, you're the EMPRESS - you're in charge of everybody!

And DC's having a snow/ice/rain-pocalypse. Most of my office decided to stay home. I, of course, living close, am expected. sigh ...

I think you would be a fantastic teacher, Aimee. Fantastic. Go you!!!

Tis cold in Colorado, but I swear it was colder back home. I think it is the wind coming up off the bay making the cold that bone chilling cold. Here - just crisp and cold. I haven't pulled out my gloves yet.

There was supposed to be an inch of snow overnight but nadda. Yes, this Bay Area girl wanted fresh snow. And yes, I know, be careful for what I ask for.

I will admit here that I almost called our Technical Assistance group to ask how to turn on the loaner laptop I have. It literally took me 10 minutes to find the tiny power button.

Techno-dork.

Due to above Snowocalpse, I wore my Doc Maartens to work with my nice pants suit. I have not yet removed them. So comfy.

In consumer news, I went to buy this bag last night. It's totally sugar, right? On the shelf right below it was this bag, in a yummy chocolate brown on sale for $19!

I had to get them both, right?
