Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Was that a sarcastic yay, oh bug? Because RSV is no picnic.

Um. Yeah.

Just checking. (I find that using a period after a "yay" makes the sarcasm clearer to doofuses like myself.)

not your mom's socks.

I vote for the creation of "People: they ruin it for the rest of us" the musical.

Didn't someone do this already? I think it was called SWEENEY TODD.

It certainly provided a good solution to the people who ruin it...

BWAH!

Rest up, bug. I have, like, 6 extra pillows in my linen closet, you want I should mail you one to tide you over until you can get a new one?

Awwww...sweetie, thanks! I think mom's gonna bring me one.

Good point. I'll try to remember that in the future :).

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I just flashed on all the Pushing Daisies people watching Sweeney Todd and I'm cracking myself up.

Ohhhhhhh. FANFIC!!!!! Someone? Anyone?

Ned had become almost content with his life. He had a successful pie business, his friends Olive and Orson Card, and someone to love, but not touch. There was only one problem. They all had good relationships with him, but not each other. Ned decided to remedy the situation – he was going to have a party.

The older of our two cars is in the shop--probably something to do with the power steering or maybe the brakes.

Car~ma for something simple we can afford to pay cash to fix requested.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I don't even want a man who buys me jewelry. I want a man who buys me power tools.

Yes. And a man who has driveway space so I can park my bike there and work on it.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My dude gave me a wonderfully heartfelt card and an awesome black retro cardigan with embroidered bowling pins on it. I am so dang lucky!

Told DH that I didn't want to do VD but he brought me Starbucks this morning. He never does that. Now I guess I gotta do something. Darn it.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

The good news is the part that needs replaced on our car is something simple and cheap--basically just a busted hose/tube that'll cost about $50.

The bad news is that the way it's configured on our car means it's hard to get at, so we could be looking at up to 8 hours and $800 of labor charges.

This is not helping with the "get out of debt" thing.
