Happy Belated Birthdays, Maria and Kristin! (and Aimee's sister!)
My day is shaping up to be insane.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy Belated Birthdays, Maria and Kristin! (and Aimee's sister!)
My day is shaping up to be insane.
So, my doctor thinks that either I have mono or that the antibiotics she gave me are fucking with my dilantin levels, because I'm just not getting better (well, I am in some ways...the fevers are gone, but the pukes have joined the list of symptoms, so...) and I have no energy and am really, really out of it. I'm going in today for blood tests, which we won't get the results on till tomorrow.
In the meantime, I'm supposed to work tonight, go to school tomorrow morning, and work again tomorrow night. She wants me to cancel all of the above. But, I've missed so much already that I really don't feel like I can.
ND, I was thinking of you as I was watching a TV show - one of the actresses was wearing TWO charm bracelets and they rattled and clanked in her microphone AND that of the man she was playing a love scene with. And went on and on and on ...
I imagined what YOU would have to say about it.
I hope the sound people have managed to get those bracelets "lost".
{{{vw}}} I hope that the bloodtest help the doctors figure out how to make you better fast. Feel better.
Any chance you will be around more in the next little while?
I certainly hope so. I've been in non-posty headspace for a while now, but it appears my fingers can once again do the talking.
Thank you for the lovely compliment, Andi.
Sparky, even the feds are on a 2-hour delay. As I watched the news this morning, the absence of that one university on the closed/delayed list was quite noticeable. I'd be cranky too.
Thanks, Cash! I hope the day isn't as insane as you think it's going to be.
vw, I hope you feel better soon.
Drew, thanks for the birthday wishes. I hope you finally got some sleep.

Because of this, and all the school delays, my commute in via doggie day care was actually easy due to the empty-ish roads. However, it's hard to appreciate an easy commute when it happens because you feel like you're the only one who has to go to work.

Yay, more Maria!

vw, do you think the first sentence (the possible!mono) could be related to the next paragraph?
I'm not trying to be snarky; I'm concerned about your health. It seems like you've taken on a LOT lately, with tutoring and school and the after-school kids' program, along with your regular life and quilting and other stuff. Maybe it's a little too much right now. Your health is more important than anything.
And we love you and want you to be a healthy bug.
Thank you all again for all of the birthday wishes yesterday and today--I really appreciate them.
Darn, thought I was swooping in all hero-y. Looks like they start service between LA and Seattle on 3/18. So, a month after you want to go, looks like $99 each way.Epic, this is so good to know! Thanks!
Also, YAY Maria being back!
ND, sorry you couldn't sleep, hon. I hope you can take a nap today or at least get a good night's sleep before you board Mouse!Ship tomorrow.

Be careful, your bitter is showing. Mine would too.
How is the puppy? Is she all better now?
