Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

I couldn't get to sleep so I'm using the fact that the network is nice and fast in the middle of the night to download video files from the California server so that I can install the first batch when I get on board the ship on Thursday.

My life. So exciting.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Hil, I hope the doctor calls you soon. At least then you know how to proceed.

Right now, I'm waiting for the Sudafed to kick in so I can breathe, which should then allow me to go horizontal to try this sleep thing.

Drew!

You know, it's kind of pathetic that the only ones posting right now are on the east coast. We brave, whacked few....

Maria!

Happy Birthday, even if I did miss by a few hours.

I do need to try again to get some sleep. These downloads are going to take the rest of the night. I did battle some insomnia by updating my LinkedIn profile a bit, so at least it was a little productive.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

OK, sometimes, I'm an idiot. Funny thing this. If your burning a disc in Toast, you can't rip a CD in iTunes. Go figure.

On the other hand it would be nice to get laid on Thursday
Big D, do we have to limit it to Thursdays?

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I hate getting up this early for work. Why do "the powers that be" think that starting high school at 7:30 am is a good idea? Draconian Dictator thinks this means all teachers should be on campus by 7...ugh.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Good luck to anyone who has to go to work in an icy, snowy mess today. Can it be Spring now?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Maria, you are wise, you are fabulous, and I feel I barely know you. Any chance you will be around more in the next little while?

Librarian Warlord

I was certain that I would get a delayed university opening this a.m. because of the ice storm -- when I took the dog out at 4:30 a.m. it was still sleeting -- so I reset my alarm for 6 a.m. instead of 5 a.m. only to find out that there would be no delay. Feh. Vortex's U. was delayed, as were a number of other U.s in DC, so I'm jealous and bitter. Also, still without coffee. This last one I can fix.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Belated Birthdays, Maria and Kristin! (and Aimee's sister!)

My day is shaping up to be insane.
