Gronk. In Phoenix now. Looks like my flights are on time. The crappy thing is I have a center seat because Disney can't seem to book a flight more than two days in advance. At least it is an exit row.
'Dirty Girls'
Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy birthday Suzi!
I am in research mode today- trying to find resources that discuss using prior learning experience for college credit that is administered on a statewide level.
Fun, fun!
HAPPY SUZI DAY!
Ginger, Mr. P. makes me giggle. I hope his antics are still a little bit humorous to you, despite the annoying factor.
Poor NoiseDesign. Poor Kristin.t hugs Andi
Also, excellent cat advice! I have nothing to add except to say that I want to meet the kitty.
P.S. If I were to move again, I would seriously consider Portland, SF, and Seattle. Not that I'm moving again, but I thought I'd throw that out there.
P.P.S. When we washed Seamus a few weeks ago, he looked almost exactly like this. Hee.
Morning, all. Thanks for all the nice words. I wish there was a way to zap them to the family.
I'm so sorry, Erin. Is there a fund set up for the family?
We have been doing fundraisers like crazy -- I'm so proud of my kids. We had two dress-down days, and kids made tamales and sold them, and our registrar who just opened a Mexican bakery, gave them a shitload of cookies and pan dulce to sell. So the community of coming together to help, which let me say, is one of the reasons I love my job and workplace so much. It's awesome to work at a small school, cause it really truly does feel like a family. Family with gang issues, but family.
Suzi, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Trudy, I am so sorry I dropped you last night. I got a long phone call from my folks about Car and then went back, and then they called again, and I...forgot you and went to sleep. I am a bad IMer. But we're in the middle of a poetry unit, and my kid have really been using it to work through their grief issues, which makes it a more potent lesson about the power of writing than I can ever just blah-blah-blah to them about. Sad, but potent. And this ki HATES to write....but he's using it to deal. Which I am loving, in a sad way. You know?
happy birthday Suzi!!!
I wish I could exchange places with you ND. I am so not motivated to go to work today. I really don't want to. I know it will get uncomfy at some point in time. I'd much rather be heading to endless Disney tech on a boat, as long as I could have access to that HD you've been filling up all week.
It's awesome to work at a small school, cause it really truly does feel like a family. So very true. I'm so glad to hear about the community response, Erin.
Omnis, I'm sorry you're stuck at work today. Are you in the middle of tech still?
Kristin, do you have a copy of that piece you wrote for the English Journal? I'd really love to re-read it, and I lent out my copy of the mag, and never got it back.
Sure, no problem. I'll email it to you, love.
thanks, sweetie
