I'm home trying to get my house less disgusting prior to the arrival of the parental units. Not much has been accomplished, but I did bake bread so the place smells yummy. Since the windows are open I could smell the bread the moment I got out of my car in the driveway. Mmmmm, bread. I hope it tastes good. It was a 'country breakfast loaf' recipe with bran and raisins. It has been forever since I baked with yeast. It is pure love that the loaves are still whole awaiting their arrival.

I found out last night that the reason my roommate was being so cagey about my birthday was that he was trying to figure out the best way to get me a kitten! We talked about it last night and decided that a one-year-old-ish shelter cat would be best for us. I just have to call our potential new roomie and make sure that doesn't effect her decision to move in. I'm so excited!
Aimee all of those dresses would look fabulous on you but I think I like the Lacy Cocktail Dress best.

By the way, for those who want to keep their red hair bright and shiny, I've been using some shampoo/conditioner Aveda makes that they claim deposits color on your hair (they have it for blonde, red, and dark hair). And it seems to work - the people at the salon keep telling me my hair's holding the color really well.
