Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I like the burgundy one from yesterday and the last one. There's something about the material of the second that I'm just not sure about.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The burgundy one has sold out of my size, sadly.

I'm kind of loving the last one, myself, but wonder if that champagne color wouldn't wash me out.

Our wings are not tired.

The last one is quite lovely, and I the color would be very nice on you.

FWIW, I have a champagne colored dress (we're pretty much the same right? Red hair and pale?) that I wore a few NYEs ago that people loved.

Red hair and pale?

Pale, yes, but my hair is more mink-colored right now. Dark brown.

I love that purple! The waistline seems perfect.

I'm home trying to get my house less disgusting prior to the arrival of the parental units. Not much has been accomplished, but I did bake bread so the place smells yummy. Since the windows are open I could smell the bread the moment I got out of my car in the driveway. Mmmmm, bread. I hope it tastes good. It was a 'country breakfast loaf' recipe with bran and raisins. It has been forever since I baked with yeast. It is pure love that the loaves are still whole awaiting their arrival.

I haven't baked bread in yonks and yonks. And the other night I watched Bobby Flay throwdown biscuits and jam and I have been craving real southern biscuits for days now.

And then Joe got mad at me for making him watch Ace of Cakes and not having any cake to eat.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Okay, if Trudy can bake TIME TRAVEL into cookies, y'all need to get off my back about the transporter and look to Trudes for a Telportation Cruller or something.
