Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Educated Faith...yum. Of course, that describes many Bitches.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Well that works out, friends watch your kids for free.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Totally off topic....

But I just realized this is the last month I will be doing what I've been doing for the last 12 years - work-wise. Next month, I'll shadow the gal who is taking over and then in April, I'll just be "on-call" if she needs help.

Wow. Color me stunned. I mean, how did it take me 8 days into the billing cycle to buy a clue?

Mostly lurking...

Sumi, did you find help with your knitting? I don't know knitting patterns as well as crochet patterns, but I can try to figure it out if you still need help.

Ginger! I love your dentist! I'm glad the tooth is fixed. Poor you.

So, um, finally went to the doctor. Turns out I have a bad sinus infection...that has spread to my ears. Um...no wonder I don't feel well.

Librarian Warlord

Feel better, bug!

Sox, I'm glad that the unhelpful sitter is gone. I suspect that geography was against you if Iris was supposed to be napping in her room, you were in your office next door, and the sitter was downstairs. I dunno if there's a way to re-think that arrangement.

The pup and I are finally home after some ugly traffic caused by people parking where they shouldn't.

it's possible, though it's worked plenty well prior.

The problem wasn't that she couldn't sleep, really. It was that I was the one chasing her around the house while the babysitter talked on the phone and worked on her computer. While I paid her. That, to me, backwards seemed.

move out and draw fire

WAY backwards. Sorry about that.

If it's any consolation, when we had a nanny we'd still have to shut the door to the computer room to get any work done, and Mal would just sit outside the door and howl, despite all the nanny's efforts.

I think I like "Potomac Primary" better than "Chesapeake Primary." Alliteration is good. Also, this is the first primary I've ever voted in, so I'm somewhat excited about that.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay voting!

Yay shiny new tooth!

Nora, the most recent book that I read that was just curl up on the comfy couch with a beverage and never want to stop was The Thirteenth Tale: A Novel by Diane Setterfield. It was very booky. The main character grew up in a bookstore. It was a very pleasant read.
