I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Feel better, Sox and Trudy (also job~ma for Trudy... seriously, that woman is bonkers, find yourself a new boss and be happier).

I'm going to have a talk with my HR person when I get back. I really think this isn't the right match. Really.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Trudy, next time, I would try the chicken broth but skip the crackers. Plain yogurt might be good, too. For more advice, read on: Also, if you have a vibrator/massager/whatev, try running that at low speed on your tummy (but only if it feels good). Keep taking the medicine, and sometimes a heating pad on your tummy or lying on your tummy with a pillow where the gas is worst (for pressure) can help you feel better.

Whitefonted for bossiness and possible inappropriate mothering. In any case, I hope you feel better soon, and please do your best not to worry about work.

In mememe news, I am in the process of downloading FayFic, AIFG!

{{{Trudy}}} Maybe get some ginger ale tomorrow if you're feeling up to going out. Try to stay hydrated.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

(whitefonted for "Well, IME" and general bossiness) Might want to have your doctor run tests to rule out everything but IBS (because that's how they diagnose, lovely.) if this happens again. I ended up in the ER after collapsing in pain trying to fool my mom that I really wasn't all that sick. Um, it didn't work. And the tests are icky and annoying but it's better to know. I was honestly freaked out by the pain before I had a clue why. And there are meds that help.

Mostly lurking...

Poor Trudy and Sox! Bad tummies! No cookies for you.

I am packed. After HOURS of packing and repacking and, well, ending up with one more suitcase that I had planned. Oy. Oh, and I forgot my birth certificate at home, so mom and I have to leave EXTRA early to stop by my apartment to pick that up. Oy again.

Why is traveling so much work???

Thanks. I was hesitant to do this today... do I want to introduce MORE bubbles?

And Re: IBS

About two months ago I had three days of chronic explosive diarreah that raised the IBS flag as well. Oy. Oh dear.

How the hell does a person go from an iron stomach to an irritable bowel? Sheeeit

For me more bubbles means the release of some of the bubbles trapped in my tummy. Your bubbles may vary. Try to drink it at room temperature as cold drinks can be hard on an upset tummy.
