Thanks, Steph. Does sound like your surgery was different from what she's looking at, but you've phrased everything so well, I'm still going to forward you pretty much verbatim to her. I tend not to be a worrier, but she is. REALLY is. It might help if someone not me also reassures her a bit.
You're very welcome. And hey, it's *surgery,* which deserves some worrying. At least from your mom, since it's her own parts which will be sliced and diced.
Pictures later
No, pictures NOW! Want see brunette Teppy!
The problem, Id Girl, is my lack of camera at work. But everyone here has made approving noises, so I'd say it's a good color.
So, um, I need someone to talk me out of making fabric postcard Valentines for the kids. I really love these: [link]

Yes. Perfect.

I got one! I got a new cell phone! It's all black and slim and shiny and has a camera and a color display!
And it doesn't weigh fifteen pounds and isn't molded out of greyish plastic that's probably recycled tractor tires from Collective Farm #362 (Yakutsk)!
Only somewhat relatedly...
This set of instructions for making a fabric postcard CRACKS me up: [link]

No arguments from me. I just think I'm not comforting, since I always assume things will turn out ok, me saying things will be ok means nothing. You saying things will be ok will hopefully carry more weight.

Those are very cute, vw, but perhaps not something you want to make
30
of...esp when you've got work and school and other projects, and when you consider that though their Moms will probably think they're awesome, little kids probably appreciate characters they recognize more than beautiful handcrafted goods. Maybe do a couple for close friends or your folks rather than 30?

Ooh! Go take a picture of Tep's hair!
