Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Might be.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Sorry Aimee to bring it up, but I wasn't aware of that. I am sort-of "Hope for the Best, Prepare for the Worse" guy, which is why I brought it up...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

No, it's valid. People do that shit all the time.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Aimee, sometimes being the Bigger Person is the best way to dig at someone. Think of the Bugs Bunny cartoons where Daffy or Elmer or the Tasmanian Devil blusters away while Bugs just stands there calmly.

It can be very satisfying.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Promotion-ma, WindSparrow!

Aimee, best of luck with that stuff. My mom's other sibs knew all about her but she didn't know about them for years. It worked out well for them. Even though my mother still has only met her bio-dad about 3 or 4 times and he likes to pretend she isn't his, everyone else just rolls their eyes and makes plans to visit and whatnot.

I have been overwhelmed by life, but there is a bright spot - mini buphista f2f tomorrow!

Emily, good luck with your ant problem. How frustrating.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh, hey!

I'm getting my hair colored today. Brown. You know, yummy rich brown. Not mousy. Obviously.

Kind of nervous, but mostly excited. I've never been anything but blonde. Ever.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ooh, Tep! Can't wait for pictures.

The Boy is smart enough to just support whatever I do with my hair, and always tells me that however *I* like it is how *he* likes it. (Though he prefers long hair on women. But I've told him that, sooner or later, I'll end up growing my hair longer than it is now, though never *long*, per se. And then, I'll inevitably cut it short again. And grow it out again. Ad infinitum.)

He seemed a bit trepidatious about me going brunette, but soon got on board.

My dad, on the other hand, thinks it's a crazy idea and wants to know why I would ever change my "beautiful golden hair." His parting words to me were, "Well, it always grows out again."

I wasn't aware that it was HIS hair. Jeez.

Prediction: Brown is going to make Teppy's beautiful eyes pop, and make her skin look luminous.

::waits for pictures::

Hivemind: Pet insurance or no pet insurance? The amount of $$ we've laid out to get the giardia diagnosed and treated would have covered the cost for a couple of years, so we're considering it.
