Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

heh.

I seem to have coughed too much and infected my DVD player. I think I may have killed it. Who knew that they were so delicate.

Thank goodness for the player on my laptop. Otherwise, I might have to, you know, read. A horror when languishing on the couch recuperating. Hopefully recuperating. And not dying.

Speaking of recuperating, hopefully you're sleeping as I type, but when you get to this, how are you doing, vw?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

should I tell my roommate that I'm hurt he ignored my birthday or just let it go?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Let it go, love. Plenty of people don't remember or make a fuss about the birthdays of their nearests and dearests, let alone their room mates.

How long have you been roommates, Laga, and do you usually do things for each other? I've found that some are just oblivious, so wouldn't want to come down hard, but festering is no good either.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

We're been friends since 2001. I made a huge deal out of his birthday last year. He's never ignored it before. There's no way he forgot. I opened my presents from my sister in front of him (at first because I thought they were from him). A few days ago a box came from Barnes and Noble that I was sure would be for me but it turned out to be for him. I'm worried that he's mad at me for something.

Mom said I should tell him but I'm asking you guys because I'm not sure. Maybe my slacker secret santa gift will arrive soon and make me feel all better.

Does your knowledge of British royalty extend to past coronations (as in 18th and 19th century)? Because if so, I have some research questions for you...

Home from Dad's. It was actually a nice evening. I took my framed diploma with me and it was given a place of honor at the table.

He had invited another family whose kids I used to hang out with when I was young. I've seen them a few times as adults, but it was fun spending an evening with that family.

I even got a great prezzie from my dad for graduating/birthday. 2 tickets to each of the 4 plays remaining in ACT's season! I'm excited.

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised.
