Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Heard the rumor again that the Draconian Dictator Principal that I work for may not be at our school much longer. I really hope this rumor is true.

An amazing thing happened today. I got a box from Amazon. Inside contained the book Three Little Words by Ashley Rhodes-Courter. Ashley is one of my former students and is just about to graduate from college. She was also featured in Glamor magazine last June as one of the "top 10 College Females". I am so proud of her!

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

The other sucky things about today? Tom Scola on the other side of the continent, no game night planned with megan walker for a while, and Lee much closer than Tom but still too far.

One of these three is easily remedied.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I think unless you love your job 100% - you should always keep your eyes open. I was happy at my old library if somewhat bored. I applied for my current job on a lark. It is much easier to go into an interview if you are ok in your current space. And I am much happier at this job , even though I would rather be home today .

When you kidnap Lee, who will take care of her cats?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

When you kidnap Lee, who will take care of her cats?

Hec?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

This is my thinking, too. You never know when the perfect thing might come along.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm out of energy and it's not even noon. Maybe I should put off quitting my red bull habit until tomorrow.

My new year's good intentions lasted until I got home from work and had smoked salmon, candy and peanuts for my dinner. Crap.

You have to allow yourself some backsliding or you'll just give up altogether. Someone is getting me a red bull right now. And I had some cookies on account of they were espresso flavored. But I choose to focus on the positive changes I've already made: I had citrus fruit for breakfast yestrday and the day before, enough leafy green vegetables to choke a goat, and I'm having tuna salad for lunch.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Crap. I'm not gonna get my car back til tomorrow. Dammit, I want it NOW!!!!

ION, I am keeping myself occupied my cleaning and organizing the whole house. Starting with the kitchen.

I have cleaned out and organized all my cabinets, cleaned out and cleaned the fridge (I can't clean the disgusting top of the fridge till I get paper towels tomorrow -- darn), washed every single damn dish, and now I will scrub the floor.

Oh, and thrown out about 1 1/2 bags of shit that I don't need/want/is broken/is trash.

When the floor is mopped, I will go to Urban Outfitter's to look at at their furnishing sale stuff, then to Kinko's to print out stuff for licensing the car tomorrow.

Then I will wash down the walls in my little dining room attachment to the kitchen. I think I am going to throw out two of the kitchen chairs. I would love to get rid of the little kitchen table (it's my grandma's but it is very rickety, and it's no antique) and get a little kitchen cart, but that's out of my budget right now. Then I will scrub and lemon oil the wood floors in there.

Then I'm gonna sort and do laundry and watch movies as I fold. I think I'm going to cull a lot of stuff. I think I'm going to try to get rid of abunch of sheets, but I hate to just throw out clothese that are just a little stained or...ugly.

I think I'll make rags out of some t-shirts and sheets and just be ruthless with the rest.
