I know I'm a bad poet, but I'm a good man. All I ask is that... is that you try to see me—

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Thanks for the nice wishes everyone. It's looking like I will be delivering the eulogy (eep) and perhaps having one or two other people reading poems or something like that. Holding the service at a community center with a nice view of gardens. Jack loved gardening so it feels appropriate.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

wow, beth ... that's one big hole.

Weather here is miserable - cold, rainy ... it'll almost stop and then come down in torrents. bleah

In other news, they've found a new plant in Madagascar. It gets its own new genus. Overachiever.

Art Crawl!!!

It's a giant suicidal palm that can be seen from Space!!!

I think that there's a sci-fi movie in that!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Giardia looks so cute and blue. Still, yuck.

I have zero motivation to pick up the trainwreck we call a house.

Librarian Warlord

If Sassypants wouldn't chew that to shreds I would buy it for her in an instant. I might anyway just to get a picture with her and it while she's sleeping and not chewing.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

My sister's dogs were getting Giardia from standing water - and because both neighbors on either side of her cemented their backyards ( WTF?) and messed up the drainage. That was part of the reason for spending so much on landscaping her backlawn

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sure that you will honor Jack's memory with love, GC. I'm sorry for your loss. Please pass along my condolences to GF. It has been such a roller coaster. I'm sure you are both emotionally exhausted. Take care of each other.

So cute. And, actually, an opportunity to practice the 'leave it' command, if you were of a mind to.

Unfortunately, 'leave' it doesn't work for wee evil buggies you can't see, even with a microscope half the time.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Then, in December 2006, a palm enthusiast living on the island saw some pictures that the Metzes had taken on their picnic and posted them on PalmTalk, the interactive online chat room moderated by the International Palm Society.

Wow, also a whole new unknown genus of geekdom.
