Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

To the Midwest:

In two days you're getting another storm. We're taking our servings now. Another is due Sunday.

Dear Utah,

Is there any way we could convince you to either keep the storm or pass it west to Los Angeles?

Admit it...those smug sunny bastards get up your nose, too.

Give 'em hail.

Love,

The Midwest

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

My best to GF, GC and all their family.

merea - wishing you way better than expected.

Over here in the east bay we get ice a couple of times a year on the windshield. Sometimes the ice is only on DH's car. Explain that.

As of today, I have a giant hole in front of my driveway. I'm parked on the cross street while all the trucks play in my street. Happily it looks like some of the driveways will be usable, so there might be more room on the street for parking. Pumpkin or banna bread sounds like a good way to spend my semi-trapped day.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm sick. bleah. roommate still hasn't paid rent but I'm kinda glad 'cause I really don't feel up to going to the bank. I guess I'll just charge him the bounced check fees.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Make that heavy cold rain in DC. Just got back in from it, and I'm soaked. Despite carrying an umbrella.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

meara, seriously craptastic news. Much next-step-on-the-path-illumination-ma.

GC, so sorry for your loss. Much peace to you and GF and the family. {{{GC & GF}}}

Morning, All.

Wanted to not dilute ~ma and condolences with minutia (sp?).

Steph, if you're around, do you remember what size the GCS shirt that you're wearing in that photo you linked is? I think you and I are of a similar enough size that you'll give me a better idea than the size chart. And how's the shrinkage been (I'm torn between sizes for my friend)? Thanks much.

If I said I wouldn't mind getting some more of that rain down here, will people think bad things about me? I'm not taunting much. I swear!

Well, hey, even if there'd been frost and ice here, I didn't have to go anywhere in it! Er...

My now-ex-boss emailed me sort of apologizing, and saying she'd give me a reference, and telling me who all got let go.

I'm seriously contemplating joining a friend in Puerto Vallarta for a week, at the end of Feb. But sticking to my "no decisions until Monday" plan.

Today, I *should* go to the DMV and get my license plates. (In a twist of fate, I received my Washington State driver's license in the mail, yesterday....). I also need to do laundry. But I figure sleeping in until after 11AM is a good start.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Thanks for the nice wishes everyone. It's looking like I will be delivering the eulogy (eep) and perhaps having one or two other people reading poems or something like that. Holding the service at a community center with a nice view of gardens. Jack loved gardening so it feels appropriate.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

wow, beth ... that's one big hole.

Weather here is miserable - cold, rainy ... it'll almost stop and then come down in torrents. bleah

In other news, they've found a new plant in Madagascar. It gets its own new genus. Overachiever.
