Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

Happy Birthday, Anne!!!

Jessica, I found one pair of mittens in your baby's size here:

[link]

Although they are "camo" print.

I have mittens with string attaching them! And the mittens are black w/ pink paw pads. I wear them with my fleece workout jacket.

The status is NOT quo.

But, if you do decide to dabble in that fashion, let me point you at Retroscope Fashions as a good place to start.
WANT!

t bats eyes at ND

My birthday is coming up, you know...

Aims, go home and go to the doctor. This is not good.

move out and draw fire

CURSE YOU WEE JILLI!!!!!

Also, cool link.

My method is to wait until we're outside to put them on. (I also recommend having a baby young enough that he can't argue with you or pull off his own mittens.)

Now matter how cold it is, he hates the mittens...hates them, my precious.

But I do too, so there's that. Maybe I can find baby armwarmers for him.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Crazy8! I always forget about them.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Like an idiot, I didn't check the school district's website--just the local newspaper this morning. So I bundled the kids up, saddled the tauntaun and drove Owen to school. Only to find out that school was cancelled today. *headdesk*

Liv's down for her nap so I have to take Owen downstairs and instruct him in the use of the magic eraser--AGAIN, only this time, for pencil marks on the walls.

That boy's going to be in a permanent time out until he's 40.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, Anne!

Well, you do have a brother.
It's true. He increased my girlfriendability by at least 37%.

I've got two brothers. Also, seven nephews. I can see an advantage to me in the dating and mating game in that, insofar as I'm rarely surprised by ordinary forms of guy-like behaviors such as belching loudly in public. (Not that that's a huge issue here, but it is a good example of what I mean.) But honestly, I can't see P-C's mom caring enough about her future daughter-in-law's state of mind to worry that the girl might possibly be shocked by rudeness, crudeness, or otherwise uncalledforness. Especially since I'm hard-pressed imagine P-C behaving in such an unbridled fashion.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Thank you all very much for the birthday wishes! I was able to get my half day, and I had a very lovely lunch with my mom. Now, I get the rest of the day to loll. Well, I'm going to do the gym thing first, THEN come back to the house, dip into my Lush birthday stash, and not leave the house again for the rest of the day.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Susan! I just remembered another place for you to go look at clothing, but they're not an online shop. In Greenwood, next door to Gordito's, there is a little thrift store named something like "Second Hand Rose". They usually have a good selection of tailored women's clothing, and the little old ladies who volunteer there are very sweet.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I've driven by there, Jilli. Next time I'm the neighborhood for the used bookstores I'll have to check it out.
