So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Thank you all very much for the birthday wishes! I was able to get my half day, and I had a very lovely lunch with my mom. Now, I get the rest of the day to loll. Well, I'm going to do the gym thing first, THEN come back to the house, dip into my Lush birthday stash, and not leave the house again for the rest of the day.

Susan! I just remembered another place for you to go look at clothing, but they're not an online shop. In Greenwood, next door to Gordito's, there is a little thrift store named something like "Second Hand Rose". They usually have a good selection of tailored women's clothing, and the little old ladies who volunteer there are very sweet.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I've driven by there, Jilli. Next time I'm the neighborhood for the used bookstores I'll have to check it out.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I seem to remember my mother safety-pinning my mittens to my coat with big safety pins. Those are probably banned now too. Choking hazard. Could put your eye out.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Epic, I, um, am not sure if the GCS store is listed in the b.org affiliate links. Because I am a scatterbrain. But do you need a link to the store?

I didn't see you on the linky page. I was able to find you on Cafe Press myself - I think you're an easier search term than the b.org stuff I was looking for. But if you'd like to link here, go ahead! I'm as lazy (nay, lazier!) than the next person. Plus, I can be an excuse for new GCS store pimpage!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I *love* my GCS shirt! (Black long-sleeved women's tee; design: sharp bat; color: pink.)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

OMG, Jilli, Retroscope has mini tricorns! OMG OMG!!!1!!1

::runs in circles flailing and meeping::

IOSpecialtyClothingN, one of my coworkers this morning tipped me off to the fact that her best friend is a corsetier (corsetrieuse?), and oh dear Lord do I need this corset. As does Tep. And, even though it may not be quite Aimee's thing exactly, I'm sure that if she wore it MM would be terribly, terribly appreciative.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

That's pretty kickass. I would totally wear it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Apparently it can be worn around the house. For cooking and what-not.

Not that there's anything wrong with that....
