Mal: How drunk was I last night? Jayne: Well I dunno. I passed out.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Never, and I mean not even ONCE IN MY LIFE, have I been able to resist yelling "Freeeeeebirrrrrd!" when a band is tuning up or even when a random guitar player is busking.

Thus, P-C's mother would say you are unfit to wed her son.

That, and you being a white she-devil and all.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Definitely go home Aimee and consider going to a doctor.

I'm currently sitting in a massaging chair at the hairdressers. This definitely doesn't suck.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The fact that I was able to get a boyfriend is often shocking to me.

Well, you do have a brother.

It's true. He increased my girlfriendability by at least 37%.

I'm utterly wrong for P-C on so many levels. I'm like the poster girl on the giant poster that says "P-C: Do NOT Marry This Woman Or Anyone Like Her!"

t edit Though I *do,* as amych pointed out, have a brother. So there's that.

Mostly lurking...

MONTHS ago (maybe almost a year ago), I read something that has stuck in my head, in regards to my research. I always thought it was kind of interesting, but not applicable to my project. Now I think it's applicable and kind of need it. But, did I mark it? No. There's a good possibility that I tossed that article out, because I didn't think it applied.

Time for a break. I'll go play with preschoolers for a couple hours to clear my head.

And in news I really shouldn't have found out about, one of the Big Name Japanese Gothic Lolita clothing companies is going to be opening a store in SF this autumn. Oh, as usual, dear.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Big Name Japanese Gothic Lolita clothing companies is going to be opening a store in SF this autumn.

Baroo? Clearly, you need to come down here and shop, what with our 3 H&Ms and other Fun Stuff Not Located in Seattle.

brillig

Empress, have you ever had asthma? Even as a kid? I had bad asthma when I was a baby, but I adjusted. When I moved out to Utah and up in elevation a couple of thousands feet, though, the asthma came back. With the recent move and you now living in a much colder situation, that may be aggrivating your lungs.

I know! Well, we're (finally) getting H&M stores this spring. But we won't have a Baby the Stars Shine Bright store! And while I find most BtSSB designs far too twee and death-by-ruffles little girly, I just remembered they're the company that makes the Alice and the Pirates line. [link]

move out and draw fire

GAH!!!

I really can't chuck out my whole wardrobe in favor of a total Gothic Lolita look, can I.

Supposedly they're a strangulation hazard. How this works when the strings are INSIDE A JACKET I'm not sure, but apparently now you're supposed to get your own string and sew each mitten to the jacket individually. What. Ev.

I got little clippy bungie cords. Now I just have to get Mal to tolerate having mittens on.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Empress, have you ever had asthma?

I've not. I've had pneumonia before, though. Like, lots as a kid.
