I would be anyway just because I'm very uncomfortable and self-conscious in anything strapless.
My wedding dress was strapless, and once it went on I barely thought of it - as Aimee says, if it's fitted properly, it'll stay up.
That said, any decent bridal shop should have multiple styles for you to choose from even if the magazines only have one sillouhette.

I've noticed this option on the David's Bridal website too. They also have cute little lacy straps you can add. I'm sure anything I get will have to be altered greatly to fit me because of my height.
I love almost all of the J Crew wedding dresses. Very simple and pretty.
