Wooot woot.
I finally got my offer letter. I am in agreement with most of what is in there. I am going to ask a couple of questions, but nothing is a deal breaker.
Next step is full steam on transitioning my current work to my backup and then picking up new projects on my new job. I will likely be traveling to Denver in late February for training. There will likely also be some travel to Boise to hand over work there. The next few months will be interesting...
whoo Suzi! Glad they finally broke the silence! I'm glad it was good news for you!
You deserve this awesomeness and much more!
Yay, Suzi!
::twirls Suzi around in victory dance::
ok, how cool is it that over the shrub's left shoulder (our right from TV land) is a WOMAN! I'm focusing on that since I'm not agreeing with a lot he's saying.
woooooooooooooooooo Suzi!!!!!!
The new job ends up a bit of a lateral move, mainly because I've been in my current job for so long that I've capped out in it. With the new job, I have a lot more room to advance and learn and stuff. Plus, if I'm able to hit the ground running, there is the potential for a mid-year adjustment. We will see. I'm both very excited and terrified.
Yay advancing! And learning! And stuff!
yes, but its the good type of terrified (I hope). Yay for room to grow!
ION, I'm out of practice with cooking. Rice finished WAY before chicken. Thankfully rice cooker has a "warm" mode. whew. It does all smell very yummy tho. California blend long grain rice, and lemon soaked chicken breast.
Oh, Suzi! They sure made you wait! YAY! I'm so glad you finally heard!
Such a weird, but good day. Started my job at the school. Kids are so freaking cute and funny. They range in age from 4-7. So funny. So funny.
Also attended a seminar at Spark Craft Studio [link] which was quite cool. I'm too tired to talk about it, but on top of the great info I got, they also may hire me to teach some crochet classes, which would be great fun. I'll send my resume off for that tomorrow.
