Tongue in cheek isn't necessarily poor taste, Tommy!
I got this for my cousin's husband when they found out she was pregnant. She's due any day now, as a matter of fact. He's an engineer so he found it very suited to him as opposed to the touchy-feely parenting books out there.
Owen had a stellar first day of school. It's so cool walking through the halls of an actual elementary school and seeing the rooms and all the kids. I hope he continues to like it.
Go, askye!
YAY Owen at school! Yay askye kicking interview ass and taking names!
Susan, I'd let it drop, if only so I wouldn't be tempted to respond to a comment like "cool it." It's not worth the rise in blood pressure.
Burrell, you're right--my bp is high enough as it is! I just hate being condescended to...
I know, I'm the same way.
Put your righteous anger to work, since you want to clean! take out the frustration on the dust bunnies!
Well, I'm still at work for another hour, and then I'm picking up Annabel for our weekly library trip. So I have to save up my righteous anger and not spill it onto innocent chaplain interns, daycare teachers, or librarians!
Cash, my cousin the pedetrician got that book for his sister who is due in May.
I'm getting ready to head out to my juvenile hall girls. I have lots of new books/requests from the book drive and am trying to figure out how to dole them out. I don't want to bring them all in one shot as that might get them thinking it'll always be that way. Still, it's tough not to bring them all in and have a big old book part-ay! Some of the requests I have are the Nicole Richie book, a Tookie Williams, Coretta Scott King bio, Bob Marley bio, and a couple of graphic novels (Spiderman Loves Mary Jane, Astonishing X-Men, and Young Avengers). Love these girls!
