Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Well, I'm still at work for another hour, and then I'm picking up Annabel for our weekly library trip. So I have to save up my righteous anger and not spill it onto innocent chaplain interns, daycare teachers, or librarians!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'm getting ready to head out to my juvenile hall girls. I have lots of new books/requests from the book drive and am trying to figure out how to dole them out. I don't want to bring them all in one shot as that might get them thinking it'll always be that way. Still, it's tough not to bring them all in and have a big old book part-ay! Some of the requests I have are the Nicole Richie book, a Tookie Williams, Coretta Scott King bio, Bob Marley bio, and a couple of graphic novels (Spiderman Loves Mary Jane, Astonishing X-Men, and Young Avengers). Love these girls!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What's she arguing you about, Susan? I'm curious, and also, that way we could laugh at her here so you don't have to stress about it over there.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

thanks to Mark, I have a iPod charger, which means I can cruise net again. Yaaaay.

Still in hospital. Now labeled as "partially blocked". There is talk of discharge, but since belly sounds like a bass drum, there is a call into the doc if I should go home.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

No, no, those are kids' names. Also Mami, Canberra, Chin, Arm, Everest

You have a Canberra in your class? That's awesome!

re: Raq's proposal.

A company that actually provides better customer service? Well, as MM says you have to spend more money to do customer service right. And I can't visualizing

Fuckhead Customer 1: You know, it really is time to sign up for the exciting new service we've been reading about for a year. Should we go with Company A or B?

Fuckhead customer number 2: Well company A really screwed us last year on basic phone service, and I hear that company B has the best customer service ever.

Fuckhead Customer 1: But company A is 50 cents a month cheaper.

Fuckhead Customer 2: Company A it is then...
