Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Great news, Cash. Bobby went to public school early for speech therapy and it was a wonderful program.

side note: Most of my used books and so forth went to the special needs preschool program over the years so I have kept touch with those teachers. They rock mightily and always seem pleased to see me with my box of goodies and Bobby updates.

move out and draw fire

Happy Birthday, Windsparrow!

ZOMG!!!! I totally forgot the find of the weekend! (Maybe this should go in Movies...) Some pr0n DVDs have commentary tracks.

COMEDY. GOLD.

Easily the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. When one of the starlets said "Glaze it, monkey!" over the money shot, I thought I was going to die.

So how are things going with the GILF, then? (The cupcakes sound yummy, imho - but I'm pining for the chocolate/pink peppercorn ones the most.)

Heh. I'm contemplating chocolate with salted caramel frosting, next. The GILF is increasingly annoying, but also increasingly hot. This may be related to how long it's been since I"ve had sex, and how she seriously blows very hot and cold. HARUMPH.

Though I wish someone had told my much younger self that it was milk OR lemon, and not both. It's an unpleasant thing to have to learn by experience.

Aww. I had never attempted that, but then was reading "Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman", and that's where the title of the book comes from, he asked for both!

call when the caller identified herself as Brendon's kindergarten teacher. He's in 10th grade now.

Awww, that is adorable!!

One of his former students was being installed as a Supreme Court justice and she had nominated him as one of the early influences that helped get her there.

Also super awesome! Wow! I think very fondly of several of my teachers (and very UNfondly of a few others), but haven't been in touch with most of them in forever. One teacher from middle school was good about staying in touch with people (before the internet!) but it helped that she also had my younger sister and brother, later. Sadly, she died a few years back. :(

It's okay, meara. It doesn't make me feel uncomfortable. I take it as a compliment.

Hah! Who says I've determined not to sleep with you, ita? :P

Anyone seen erinaceous around? Apparently she's giving a seminar at a conference I'm going to in March.

She's updated her LJ a couple times recently, but mostly is on her Dress A Day blog, these days....

In random news: WHY did I keep putting off buying a zester? I finally got one yesterday so I could make the cupcakes with lime and lemon zest, and it was SO AWESOME. Silly me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

that's where the title of the book comes from, he asked for both!

Really? Nifty. How did I not know that?

Only now do I realize that I have a freaking zester so I have no excuse for not zesting a lime or two when I made lime pudding. it was still pretty good, but it could have been much better. Bah.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

What I always tell myself is that _____ will still be there when I'm done with this project. ____________ is not going to disappear out of the universe any time soon.

You can't know that! It's already disappeared from your sentence. Who knows where will be next?

(And if it IS something I won't be able to get again I'm allowed to have it.)

I resolved this after postponing the purchase of an echidna documentary, only to see it disappear from the shelves. Can't even get it from eBay now.
