'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Go, askye! That’s wonerful news!

Resignation letters by Buffistas--it should be a book!

When Brendon was in kindergarten it was her first year teaching. He was the only child that read fluently so he read stories to the other children and was her pretend assistant since he could read instructions. She even taught him multiplication. She is no longer teaching and has married and had 3 children, but just couldn't get Brendon off her mind and searched for me. Most brilliant child she ever encountered, etc.

Awwww…That’s so sweet! I love it when people do little things like that that make our days.

Would that be considered stalkerish?

I don’t think so. I’d love to do the same with a couple of my high school teachers, but since I can’t remember one of their names, I’ve probably got an up-hill battle!

He sat in an honored place at the installation with the other "influences." It was cool. And not stalkerish.

Oh, that is wicked cool.

Anyone seen erinaceous around? Apparently she's giving a seminar at a conference I'm going to in March.

Also very cool. I’ve seen her on LJ recently (like while I was in St. Thomas recently). I’ve got her e-mail if you’d like.

It’s WindSparrow’s birthday? YAY! Happy Birthday, Andi!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Coffee -- cream, no sugar; tea - lemon, no sugar

If a student looked me up to tell me I was a great teacher/influence, it would make my fucking LIFE. Unless they were a serial killer. Although, if they were a wickedly brilliant serial killer, I would still be kind of pleased. I am an intellectual snob.

A co-worker called me up to tell me Heath Ledger was dead. I was supershocked.

I like tea with milk and honey but I'll take it with cream if there's no milk in the house. I'll also take it black or with lemon. I'm flexible.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy birthday, windsparrow!

Tea. I drink lots of it (because I mostly stopped drinking coffee; in fact, I have a pot of orange mint cinnamon sitting on my desk right now). Things like lemon or cream/milk in tea is an abomination in the Cupcake Goth Cult, and sugar is barely acceptable. If tea really needs sweetening, I use honey.

I just ordered some tea from the Mighty Leaf website: Pear Caramel Truffle and Mayan Chocolate Truffle. I tried both in a sampler pack, and they're gorgeous.
