Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I like tea with milk and honey but I'll take it with cream if there's no milk in the house. I'll also take it black or with lemon. I'm flexible.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy birthday, windsparrow!

Tea. I drink lots of it (because I mostly stopped drinking coffee; in fact, I have a pot of orange mint cinnamon sitting on my desk right now). Things like lemon or cream/milk in tea is an abomination in the Cupcake Goth Cult, and sugar is barely acceptable. If tea really needs sweetening, I use honey.

I just ordered some tea from the Mighty Leaf website: Pear Caramel Truffle and Mayan Chocolate Truffle. I tried both in a sampler pack, and they're gorgeous.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Happy Birthday Andi!

Just saw this in the comments at Defamer

"Hamlet 2? Doesn't the first line have to be, "Where the hell IS everybody?"

Because books.

I sweeten my tea. No milk, though!

Oh, yum.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Happy birthday, Windsparrow!

I drink my tea straight, or at most, with some lemon added.

Owen qualifies for Special Ed and he will be starting class on THIS THURSDAY! MEEP!

He'll be in a small class Monday through Thursdays for 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon with speech & language and occupational therapy. I'm so thrilled he'll be in a structured, public school setting. I love all the teachers and therapists I've met with.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have a chocolate tea (it is, sigh, packed up in a box somewhere so I can't look at it and get the brand) that is tasty straight up, but with an added teaspoon of cream and a packet of Splenda it is astoundingly like hot chocolate. Which is nice for me, because hot chocolate is delicious but too much milk for me to really enjoy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, Cashmere! That's great news.
