Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, puppy! How I've missed you! He was so sweet all night...all curled up next to me.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

On the subject of diets - still enjoying Atkins. Also, I have lost 4lb this week, apparently! So that's very cheering! (...but, you know, I realise that it's scarcely the most vegetarian-friendly of foodplans. Best of luck with the Diet-to-Go thing, Hil!)

Our wings are not tired.

Not at all, Ms. Bug. And welcome back. You may not have jet lag, but a bit of climate lag.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Speaking of diets and food, I heartily endorse Cook's Illustrated's method for roasting a chicken. They have you start it out on its side, switching sides after 15 minutes, and then turning the heat up a notch and flipping it on its back in the traditional position for the remainder of the cooking time. It gets the thighs to cook faster so that the breast meat doesn't dry out waiting for it to catch up.

Figuring out the best way to turn it was a bit of a task - I eventually ended up just using my hands and a wooden spoon. But it was easy enough. They also have you rub some butter on before it goes in the over, along with salt and pepper, but otherwise no basting or other messing around with it. It worked beautifully.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

How did I get here?

So. Tired. How could I have possibly gotten through the morning routine and arrived at work...on time, even?

How?

Thrive to spite them

Interview over.

I won't say I rocked it but I think I did well. I tried to think of quesitons to ask but he'd told me almost everything I possibly would want to know.

He gave me an application to fill out and turn back in later today, it's fairly long.

He gave me a benefits summary and I asked about salary, towards the end of the interview, I wasn't sure about if I should or not, but since he brought up benefits I thought it might be okay.

It pays more. There are 2 bonuses through the year (xmas and also performance if you earn it). Health insurance paid, dental insurance paid, 401K. 8:30-4:30pm every day, he said no one stays later than 4:30 pm and that there's not a reason to. 1 hour lunch!

He said that he'd be calling about 2nd interviews at the end of the week/being of next.

That's good right? That he mentioned the second interview right?

So continuted job ma.
