TCG called an hour and a half ago to say he was going to be headed home in 20 minutes. It takes him just over an hour to get home. So I started dinner at what I thought would be a good time. Dinner is done and he just called to say he is leaving now. I probably shouldn't be this pissed off, but I am.

They're usually much nicer. DH got a really nice leather laptop case from the guy who found him the new job. I'm surprised you're surprised. A lot of actuaries here get a lot of headhunting calls once they make Fellow.

This is the first time I've been headhunted, possibly because I've moved around a bit. (e.g. I got my Fellowship at the same time I started my non-actuarial position in Philly.) I don't yet know if I'm interested - I like the working conditions here, but I'm pretty sure I'm underpaid compared to what I could get elsewhere. Methinks I need to know more.
