Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

4lb bag of licorice whips.

These should have their own duffel bag. Along with Cherry coke and cheese popcorn.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Dylan decided to celebrate the passing of 2007 by skipping his first nap this morning and instead spent the better part of 3 hours making emphatic loud screechy noises that I'm sure were meant to communicate something. Possibly something along the lines of "CHECK OUT HOW LOUD I CAN SCREECH!!! AW, YEAH, SCREECHING!!!! WOOOOOOOT!"

Thankfully, he's asleep now. Let us hope that this nap makes up in length for the missing of nap #1.

[eta: Oh, and I am over my Stomach Ick of the past few days, and instead woke up to find that I had been invaded by communists at some time in the middle of the night. What fun. Not.]

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Big family party last night. Soooo much fun. As it was winding down, someone said "the cousins should go to a movie!" so eleven of us (eight cousins, three significant others) went and saw Charlie Wilson's War.

How much do I love that my family's idea of a good time is going to see Charlie Wilson's War ?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Very thick fog in Northern Virginia this morning. Luckily, very thin traffic as well.

Teddy is home, and it looks like the best case scenario -- too high levels of immune suppressant, which is treatable. More tests Wednesday to make sure there hasn't been damage to the kidney and related tubes.

Our wings are not tired.

Good news, Fred!

Went to BIL's big family thing. Lots and lots of people. It was very nice and I was comfortable enough. Glad I went. Had a bit too much champagne.

Our wings are not tired.

Poor parents of tantrum having kids! I don't remember the boys doing this much, but they both had colic to punish me earlier in life so I had to get a break at some point.

My nephew was big on tantrums. The first time I took care of him he launched into one when I drove past MacDonald's without stopping for fries. I glanced at him and told him that didn't work on me and he stopped instantly. Tried it again once, same reaction when I told him it wouldn't work.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

It's funny how a little thing like not seeing the payment for your credit card bill, even though you know you paid it and yet somehow it must not have gone through because look now there are finance charges and late fees but I know I logged in to pay it so wtf happened, can totally ruin your day.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Man, I am out of it!

Between the disorientation of the Alarm Clock That Wasn't incident and this incipient sinus/ear fuckityness I got happening, I feel like my eyes aren't tracking right and my head is stuffed with stupid.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{JZ}}} I have so much sympathy for you on the tantrums. I was in the back seat of the car with my nephew once where he was throwing such a fit about not getting a toy he wanted that he ended up throwing up all over me. I hope the Matilda tantrums go away quickly.

{{{Aimee}}} I'm sorry you're having a bad morning. Better day ~ma.

I think I'm getting a cold. I didn't get much sleep last night, and I'm stuffed up and headachy this morning.

Hey. New board.
