I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My first concert was Kansas. I was in high school, and mentioned to my dad they were a Christian band. (I think they handed out tracts at the show.)

I think this was the only concert I went to before college.

not your mom's socks.

before I had any choices in the matter, my first concert was the Kingston Trio, with Peter Paul and Mary (and with that, sparky just sprayed her coffee).

my mom won a radio contest when I was 13, and my official first concert was the hooters

I made up for it all later.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

It's airing here and Owen loves to dance to it.

Is he dancing like he's never danced before?

(it was too easy)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Duran Duran used to be one of my guilty pleasures, but somewhere along the way I lost the guilt.

My first concert was the Police. And I still remember Sting wore a black kimono and was FUCKING HAWT.

Punishingly Intricate

my mom won a radio contest when I was 13, and my official first concert was the hooters

WHY THE SMALL FONT??!?!

The Hooters were awesome! Since they were from Philly and I grew up in Wilmington just down the road I actually saw them a ton during high school.

I saw a lot of old timey and bluegrass music and Irish folk music as a kid but my first rock concert was the Pretenders and the Alarm (at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA).

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I think my first concert was Rick Springfield. After that, it was a lot of hair metal shows. I bet my parents are still kicking themselves for not letting me go to the Duran Duran show.

t obligatory Seattle scene comment The "hippest" show I probably hav ever gone to, in terms of alternative music cred, was the KISW Rising Stars concert on my 21st birthday. $7 for the then-unknown bands Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, and Jane's Addiction.

ION, I am really cranky today. Craaaaaanky. Tell me cheering things.

Go look at sdwolfpup's LJ. Or hit up her memories for the More Joy Day coverage.

OH! OH! t /Horshack First, because I know you love Wicked, watch that Firefly vid linked to in, umm, Minearverse, I think. (If you can. Do you have headphones if you share an office?) Then, watch Destiny Calling, which I'm pretty sure sdwolfpup (who is SUCH a freaking sweetheart and I adore her to pieces) linked to. It made me cry happy tears.
