Suzi, those are gorgeous! Good luck with Etsy. I love the site. You probably already know this, but I believe success there involves much self-promotion, as they have not reached the volume of visitors that eBay commands.
Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Timelies!
I wish I could have captured the sky I woke up to this morning and bottled it. It was so incredibly gorgeous. And last night, the stars were so amazing. When I'm not getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, it really is wonderful here.
Trudy, I hope you're getting some sleepies.
Suzi, SO gorgeous! Love them all!
Morning, WS.
I love it when the SEC dominates...
Indeed! I actually went to bed before the end, but I could hear the roar of approval.
Beautiful Suzi!
Good morning Andi & vw.
and I am out the door with my first school drop....
Someone is drilling or using a chainsaw or something outside and it's loud and disturbing my quiet island morning.
I know, I know. You all feel so badly for me. Such a rough life. Those damn diamond shoes are pinching again.
That's not right. Peaceful island mornings should not include chainsaw noise. Your pictures are making me realize my life isn't tropical enough.
It's so funny to mix the drilling with the wild rooster. It's kind of cracking me up.
There will be more pictures after today. My charger is waiting for me at the post office. YAY!
So I'm wondering whether Jilli has yet read this. And, if so, what she thinks.
I think it's rather delightful just because, you know, LABYRINTH. But I'm sorry the artwork is so pedestrian - it's not bad, but it's not...lush. And really, the visual aesthetic of the movie is so much a part of it that one would, ideally, have liked the graphic novel to be gorgeous.
It's sent me off to read Labyrinth fanfic, though.
Morning all.
Joe is spending the day after his birthday at home with sick Emeline. I was holding her and singing to her last night and he felt her head and she was a bit warm. A poke in the ear and 4 beeps later, it was confirmed. 100.3 degree fever. We gave her some Tylenol Nighttime and she zoned out in the middle of dinner. Oddly, she had enough energy for cake. So, this morning, poke and beeps and sure enough, more fever. I feel horrid cause today was supposed to be her first day of preschool. But, she's also happier at home in her fleece jammies and having juice and watching "Wow Wow Wubzy" with Daddy than she would be at school. It's days like this when I wish I were a SAHM.
Poor Bubba.
But, in true dictatorial fashion, I left a fairly long list of chores for Joe to accomplish. Birthday's over, baby! Chores!

I am SAHM today, but no jammies and fun. It is forcing Bobby to do his damn work properly time. He had 4 projects to do over break. A diorama and handout for language, a research paper for science, redoing his logbook for engineering because he lost it. He did the handout because it was read a passage and bubble in the answer. His diorama is pathetic. He still hasn't done the log book. When I went to bed last night he was completing his paper on fuels and his dad proofread it. Somehow he missed 2 of my favorite sentences.
Hydrogen: may be used as gas someday.
Biodiesel can be made from weed.
I wrote a comment in red after every paragraph on what needed to be fixed. 2 paragraphs are marked as good. Ugh!
