I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

Book ,'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My current theory of "what else would I do?" involves winning the lottery and cabana boys -- but that first bit is tricky to work out.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

ya, I've been thinking the same thing, only not cabana boys, but cabana girls. Too bad the rational/math person goes "dude, your throwing your money away", so I only play when I see the quick-e-stop with the sign saying both lottos are over $25 million. Which is very rare. And yet, I still never win. SHOCKER!

Well Trudy, I hope your delayed response means you finally got some shut eye. I'm heading off to the la la land myself. Hope your day goes better than you fear.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Suzi, those are gorgeous! Good luck with Etsy. I love the site. You probably already know this, but I believe success there involves much self-promotion, as they have not reached the volume of visitors that eBay commands.

Timelies!

I wish I could have captured the sky I woke up to this morning and bottled it. It was so incredibly gorgeous. And last night, the stars were so amazing. When I'm not getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, it really is wonderful here.

Trudy, I hope you're getting some sleepies.

Suzi, SO gorgeous! Love them all!

Morning, WS.

Our wings are not tired.

I love it when the SEC dominates...

Indeed! I actually went to bed before the end, but I could hear the roar of approval.

Beautiful Suzi!

Good morning Andi & vw.

and I am out the door with my first school drop....

Someone is drilling or using a chainsaw or something outside and it's loud and disturbing my quiet island morning.

I know, I know. You all feel so badly for me. Such a rough life. Those damn diamond shoes are pinching again.

Our wings are not tired.

That's not right. Peaceful island mornings should not include chainsaw noise. Your pictures are making me realize my life isn't tropical enough.

It's so funny to mix the drilling with the wild rooster. It's kind of cracking me up.

There will be more pictures after today. My charger is waiting for me at the post office. YAY!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

So I'm wondering whether Jilli has yet read this. And, if so, what she thinks.

I think it's rather delightful just because, you know, LABYRINTH. But I'm sorry the artwork is so pedestrian - it's not bad, but it's not...lush. And really, the visual aesthetic of the movie is so much a part of it that one would, ideally, have liked the graphic novel to be gorgeous.

It's sent me off to read Labyrinth fanfic, though.
