It seems odd to them that read a book or watch something on the laptop in the middle of the cheering sports watching, but I like the activity of the game watching while the game doesn't hold my interest. Except the super plays that I watch. And popcorn. And wine.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy Birthday, MM! Interesting article, too.
I've started my first blog on my triathlon training adventures. [link] I wish I had the ability to put words to page like many of the Buffistas, but since I can't I will just bore my friends and family in my own way.
d, I'm sure you aren't boring in the least! I'm very impressed with willpower to get out there and do a triathlon at all, btw. Much better woman than I, that's for sure.
I have been productive, yet I am nowhere near finished with anything. We discovered that the canvas Christmas tree storage bag was out in the rain all last week, so it is completely soaked through and filled with water. Argh. I shook it out and put it on the back wall to dry, but that kind of kills my plans to take down the tree and all the decorations today. I did, however, write thank-you notes to my family and began to tackle the long list of notes I need to write to all of the students' families who donated to my holiday bonus. I'm out of cards and stamps, so I think that's all I can do there. I also went through all of the mail and made piles of garbage, bills, and shit that needs to be filed. I've paid the bills and balanced my checkbook, but the filing nsm.
There's still shit everywhere in the living/dining room, and ND has a business meeting here tomorrow. Ack! I think the cardboard boxes are breeding.
Don't suppose Secret Crush Society's got a gig anywhere in there? I'd love to see you guys.
Sadly we don't have anything scheduled. You are totally welcome to join me and Mrs. Zebra, wife of acting head ref Johnny Zebra, at derby. It's a blast!
Congrats on your award, GC!!!
Nora I am insanely jealous of your fried chicken in the house. That's something I've never dared to make myself. Deep frying scares me.
Ok , I just put please mr jailer up on my blog. most of the youtube comments are 'i love johnny depp' I'm not sure If that was my only comment I'd bother. In conversation, yes , but on a board? However, it was funny to read.
d, i marked you blog to read later. I am trying to take breaks from the computer. ha
d, I read your posts and immediately was like "ooh maybe I should do a triathalon"! And, also, hmmm...I wonder if I can talk d into doing the Ride for the Feast with us this year.
lisah, that is very tempting! I think I need to get a new bike first though; that's a lot of miles!
I'm so glad your blogging the triathlon preparation, d! i've been thinking I'd like to train for one and reading your blog is going to help motivate me to do it.
I made it to the end! WhooHOoo!!!!
First off... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MM! The GM extraordinaire! The man of the Office Sherpas stories. And the awesome CS article. Alas, I could not rate it, but I thought it was well done! Reminds me of the time I called to complain about something, and I said to the very nice gal on the line (paraphrase) "OK, now, as you might guess, I'm kinda peeved by this. So the NY'er in me insists on yelling and thrashing about. Please don't take it personal. And mentally redirect the yelling to the people that it should be directed to that came up with the problem... OK, rar rar rar..." which gave her a nice chuckle, and immediately she came up with an interesting work around. I'm not sure if it was the mock yelling, or the preface that won her over, but either way, it worked.
OK, not here. I'm working. Really.
