Reminds me of the time I called to complain about something, and I said to the very nice gal on the line (paraphrase) "OK, now, as you might guess, I'm kinda peeved by this. So the NY'er in me insists on yelling and thrashing about. Please don't take it personal. And mentally redirect the yelling to the people that it should be directed to that came up with the problem... OK, rar rar rar..." which gave her a nice chuckle, and immediately she came up with an interesting work around. I'm not sure if it was the mock yelling, or the preface that won her over, but either way, it worked.

It's an Alton Brown recipe and it's suprisingly simple. AND SO DELICIOUS.

We also made collard greens (cooked with onion and bacon). Nom nom nom.
