Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

A Special Birthday Smiting for Aimee's Boss:

May all you encounter reflect back unto you the overweening arrogance coupled with blind stupidity that you exude in every waking moment of your pallid existence. May the gods of commerce withdraw their favor, sucking dry your accounts and leaving you bereft and adrift, living in your company pick-up truck and subsisting off the refuse found in the fetid dumpsters of fast food establishments.

May all the days of your life be spent reviled and loathed by all who meet you; may they refuse to meet your eye nor hear your voice; may their compassion fail and their touch be brutal unto you.

May every endeavor you attempt turn to filth in thy hands and run from between thy fingers as you strive to grasp it.

May the face of God be turned from you, your fall unmarked, your life unremarked, your death alone and unmourned.

In short: Ass 'im in his ear.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Addendum: But may you give Aimee a nice severance package before all of thus befalls you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I suppose you would have to be a moron to fuck cake.

Pie worked out fine.

Happy birthday, Joe.

Pie worked out fine.

I would not say it worked out "fine".

They just won't stop making fucking movies about it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

hooray! The repair to our HVAC unit was only $157! That is some damn fine news. Also, the guy came out fast and fixed it promptly.

I am also eating a salad with my lunch (leftover beef stew), a move that I hope portends that I will be eating more vegetables on a daily basis.

I have also yoga'd. And got an email from HR for an internal position I applied for! I don't know if it's the job for me, but it's nice to get the interview. That way I can find out if it's a good fit or not.

I...don't know what this means:

When I submitted my article to Helium.com it was rated 54 out of 104 articles. Right off the bat, I mean, so...nobody could have read it and whatnot.

Now it's number 4.

What...does anybody know what this means?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Most of the articles there are rated negatively?

There is crack involved?

Ah, good. That makes me feel better. There's logic behind it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Maybe you wrote a really good article.

Just a thought.
