I just put a beef carbonnade stew in the oven- beef, onions, beer. Yum! Hope it turns out OK, it's the first time I've made it.

This week is all about getting back into routine. Healthy meals planned, yoga, belly dancing, gym, sleeping. Beer only on the weekends. Bring lunch to work. Everything will go back to normal.

I'm having Bumblebee Sensations Sundried Tomato & Basil Seasoned Tuna Medley. It's not quite as good as the Thai Spice flavor (which is remarkably hot) but still scrummy.

Hmm... Bumblebee says their thai tuna is mildly spicy. I guess you're not supposed to squeeze all the seeds and juice out of the enclosed red pepper, mix them in and then eat the pepper. Well I never do what I'm supposed to.

DH and his friends are still playing pool and I want to eat dinner. Would it be rude for me to fix myself dinner? They need to go home and eat with their families. It's 7pm here!

ok, so I log into Match, and I find I've already got a "flirt" waiting for me. But wait. Un pictured Ms is all the way in Nantucket, Massachusetts!! I dunno if we can get farther apart in the continental US. Hello, my profile says 50 miles. Yours says 100 miles. I think the decimal is slightly out of whack for either of those. So do I respond?!?

I say flirt if you don't have anything better to do, omnis. It would be easy to slip a "you know we are really far apart geographically" quip in there, I would guess.

Oh, MasterCook update: it took me all day to get it installed on the virtualPC XP environment on my iBook. This is not, of course, the fault of the MC software but it explains why I haven't really been able to play with it yet. I have managed to find a recipe for tomorrow night's dinner, though, so that's good. If I can stay one day ahead I'll be doing great. Really really great.

if "flirt" is the same as "quick match" I think they ignore your geography quotient. All my quick matches have been quite far away.
