Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I've stumbled across a couple of blogs that have longer posts that are interesting, but they are excited about whatever they are talking about. I just know me - I write better when I keep it shorter.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I don't mind the longer posts as long as there's a paragraph once in a while to give my eyes a break. I'd still prefer a cut, though.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Nora. I'm so very sorry.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm sorry to be a downer about all this.

I feel a little bad, because my parents are still in town tonight and I kind of declined going out to dinner with them because I just sort of don't want to leave the house. We're getting Chinese takeout and I'm in my sweats and we're watching TiVo.

Things are going to get back on track though. I'm glad that the weather this week won't be horribly cold again.

I am looking forward to having other stuff to talk about!

Thanks for your good thoughts and wishes, all.

Nora- please don't feel bad. Grief is a very personal process and you shouldn't have to justify your choices right now. If you don't feel like going out that's OK.

BOOK: "River..? Please, why don't you come on out..." RIVER: "No. Can't. Too much hair." - 'Jaynestown'

Coffee:

There's finally a non-StarBucks coffee shop within a reasonable drive of home. It's a chain, I think, but not a huge one. Called Buon Giorno, I think (sp?). The wonderful thing is that there is WiFi here, and it's FREE! Not only that, but there are plenty of power outlets out on the patio for my laptop, too. It's a little cold, but there are the nifty gas "people broiler" heaters out here.

ION, I need to find a new place to live. This sucks, for I've only been in my current apartment for a year. I've moved at least once a year since 1997. That's a decade of moving. I'm sooooo not into moving right now.

ok after hours of playing with flickr. I actually did what I wanted to learn. Posting to my blog with flickr.

Hours is exaggerating. I swear , even though I think of myself as technical learning how to get around new software makes my head hurt.

oh - link to my blog and the drama that is light

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I used to go to a Buon Giorno in Metairie that had great Zeppole and a low-carb mocha that was excellent. It was one of those sort of chains - there were multiple locations with the same name but they were independently owned, or something.

I recently sat down and figured out that I have, in fact, had 18 different addresses in the last 18 years. Only 16 different jobs, though.

Cool picture, beth.
