Baby steps are definitely easier to live with, Laga.
Personally, I'm a fan of the Arby's cheesecake poppers.
I had on order from Sock Dreams come in and I have fallen in love with the stripey thigh highs and arm warmers I got!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh yah those cheescake poppers are hella good. Worst part is I can see Arby's from here. OK I actually have to walk a few feet and then I can see it.
The Rock is playing on Tivo. I am drinking amazing Tea given to me by one sister, out of a cool teacup from Japan given to me by my other sister. And I am reading random post on wordpress.
Not bad for a rainy Saturday.
But I am amazed at how boring blogs can be. I always keep my post short , because if I write about onion soup - it doesn't need to be long. I swear some of these people were falling asleep as they posted. Your story of how you met should at least interest you.

amen. My rule on lj is: if the scroll bar appears before I'm done composing I need to put in a cut. I have taken people off my friends list for violating this rule too much. My friends list doesn't really reflect who my actual friends are though, it's more like who I enjoy reading. If I find I'm not able to keep up with my friends list I drop somebody.
I've stumbled across a couple of blogs that have longer posts that are interesting, but they are excited about whatever they are talking about. I just know me - I write better when I keep it shorter.
I don't mind the longer posts as long as there's a paragraph once in a while to give my eyes a break. I'd still prefer a cut, though.
The rain stopped - and the sun came out very briefly-The light was intense. I grab the camera just to see what i could get - pictures posted later
Oh, Nora. I'm so very sorry.
I'm sorry to be a downer about all this.
I feel a little bad, because my parents are still in town tonight and I kind of declined going out to dinner with them because I just sort of don't want to leave the house. We're getting Chinese takeout and I'm in my sweats and we're watching TiVo.
Things are going to get back on track though. I'm glad that the weather this week won't be horribly cold again.
I am looking forward to having other stuff to talk about!
Thanks for your good thoughts and wishes, all.
Nora- please don't feel bad. Grief is a very personal process and you shouldn't have to justify your choices right now. If you don't feel like going out that's OK.
