I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I hearby announce that girls have a distinct ability to PISS ME OFF.

Aw, Gris, you wee scone. But you're made of awesome, love, and you're blatantly going to be all Girlfriended up some time soon - I'm just sorry that the dating scene is being crappy at the minute. Meanwhile, though, I think the musical theatre thing sounds FANBLOODYTASTIC, and am awash with envy.

Laura - what they said. You rock, and are foamy like a foamy thing, and anyone who is cool and worth bothering about will be all 'Yay Laura!!!'. And anyone who's going to get their Size Zero knickers in a twist and be uncharitable about anyone else's appearance is a knob, about whose good opinion it's really not worth fretting. Bollocks to them.

(Besides - the odds that everyone there will be able to boast pert little peachlike bottoms and trim waists untouched by the passage of time? Dude. You live in America. Ass happens.)

My goodness! I feel like I've barely had time to be around lately. Hugs to Deena and Laura and Gris and everyone. And money/car~ma for TCG and sj. And I'm sure I'm forgetting people. I'm sorry. My brain is on only one thing right now.

I HAVE A NEW CAMERA! It's such a silly little thing, but my camera is kind of crappy, and I was really wanting a new one before I went to St. Thomas next week, and I just couldn't justify purchasing one. And I was whining about it at dinner tonight, so my brother went into Best Buy after dinner (we were at the mall) and bought me a fabulous new camera [link] and a 2G memory card, because he thought I deserved it for the trip. I'm so freaking excited. SO excited.

Oh, and speaking of the trip. Apparently the people I live with don't own a coffee pot. How am I supposed to go 17 days with no coffee???? Guess I'm switching to tea.

oh my. I think I've hit a new level of geek. So it appears the NFL is broadcasting the Pats/Giants game on 3 networks, CBS, NBC, and their own NFL network (that like NOBODY has). I was hoping that they would have different feeds, so you could see different views if you watch both. Alas, it is a simucast. Identical down to the ads and sportscasters. So I have both DVR's recording it, and sat their for the first few minutes pause/playing to get them in sync. Ya, new level of dork.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It is unpossible to go 17 days without coffee. Get a cheap French press.

I wish Laura was visiting me. I can't think of anything I'd say behind her back except for "made of awesome" and "when is she coming back?"

My niece is apparently pretty sick and they don't know why. They are throwing about all types of possibilities, including lupus, but I know that it's never lupus. Some health~ma in her direction would not be amiss.

I am home. I am glad. I am the tiredest person ever. Fire bad; tree pretty. I left the house covered in paper, boxes, packing peanuts and assorted grime. Oddly, it didn't clean itself while I was gone.

All is well that ends in pizza.

They make coffee "tea bags," too.

Yeah. She said she'd get me some of those, but ick. I'll survive. Really. I shouldn't be complaining. I mean, great vacation on beautiful island. Maybe I won't need coffee.

ION, apparently 16 years is not enough time passed for a father to hear about his daughter's first kiss. I think he's wondering if this vacation is such a good idea.

Am I the only 'freak' that doesn't drink coffee?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I drink tea. Coffee can upset my tummy and make me too wired. So I probably have it once or twice a month (when I have a big breakfast).

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I vote french press. It is a nice gift for a hostess - it takes up very little room in the cupboard and is there when the next coffee addict comes to visit.

After having brunch in SF with a bunch of the bayareaistas, I wrote about finding this board in my blog

nothing earthshattering, and stuff we agree on.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I drink tea too, but I second the idea of a french press if you want to have coffee. You can get one for under $20.

Health~ma to your niece, Ginger.
