I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It is unpossible to go 17 days without coffee. Get a cheap French press.

I wish Laura was visiting me. I can't think of anything I'd say behind her back except for "made of awesome" and "when is she coming back?"

My niece is apparently pretty sick and they don't know why. They are throwing about all types of possibilities, including lupus, but I know that it's never lupus. Some health~ma in her direction would not be amiss.

I am home. I am glad. I am the tiredest person ever. Fire bad; tree pretty. I left the house covered in paper, boxes, packing peanuts and assorted grime. Oddly, it didn't clean itself while I was gone.

All is well that ends in pizza.

They make coffee "tea bags," too.

Mostly lurking...

Yeah. She said she'd get me some of those, but ick. I'll survive. Really. I shouldn't be complaining. I mean, great vacation on beautiful island. Maybe I won't need coffee.

ION, apparently 16 years is not enough time passed for a father to hear about his daughter's first kiss. I think he's wondering if this vacation is such a good idea.

Am I the only 'freak' that doesn't drink coffee?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I drink tea. Coffee can upset my tummy and make me too wired. So I probably have it once or twice a month (when I have a big breakfast).

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I vote french press. It is a nice gift for a hostess - it takes up very little room in the cupboard and is there when the next coffee addict comes to visit.

After having brunch in SF with a bunch of the bayareaistas, I wrote about finding this board in my blog

nothing earthshattering, and stuff we agree on.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I drink tea too, but I second the idea of a french press if you want to have coffee. You can get one for under $20.

Health~ma to your niece, Ginger.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I have one of these.

Earlier I was in Trader Joes and "Bennie and the Jets" came on and I swear half the store was going, ssssssssssssssss

Now I have a home made bloody mary with a pickled asparagus. Plus I already have a batch of beans (black-eyed peas included) made so I don't have to worry about cooking on the first.

Am I the only 'freak' that doesn't drink coffee?

No. I have never met a coffee I liked.

Hence my lack of knowledge that "coffee bags" are "ick."

Because books.

I don't drink coffee! I'm a tea girl all the way.

Hugs and ~ma all around, since I've been mostly absent since before Christmas and I haven't even skimmed, aside from the last few posts.

And extra special health~ma for your niece, Ginger. Sometimes it *is* lupus, but fingers crossed it's not.
