Damn you, Bridget! Damn you to Hades! You broke my heart in a million pieces! You made me love you, and then you-- I SHAVED MY BEARD FOR YOU, DEVIL WOMAN!

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2007: Heaven's Just a Funky Moose

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2007? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm going to have to send that to my coworker who keeps insisting that the Lil Mama remix of Girlfriend is "the jam of the year."

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I put my tree up yesterday. I like my tree. I have an artificial tree, for many reasons , including allergies. It is a skinny 7 ft tall tree. It is perfect for my 8ft ceiling house. being a skinny tree - it can go in a lotof places that a wider tree couldn't go.

For the longest time I was a white lights person, but I really like the colored lights that came on the tree. cheery. The big challenge is finding all the plugs to make all the lights come on.

Most of my ornaments are from one of my sisters. She is in the military and has traveled a lot. while traveling, she pick up ornaments for xmas gifts. This year I just chose the ones that had to go on the tree - because they told me so. It means that the ugly plastic sea horse from Malta is not on the tree. Neither is the ugly paper tree I made in kindergarten. But lots of stuff from Japan s on the tree. and so is the Tardis ( ok , it is a red phone booth from england, but Tardis is more fun). Even thought it is most of the decorations are from my sister, some are from my mom, my other sister, and Matt's mom. My christmas tree is like having my family here.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm tempted, Laga, on the slacker slacker. If others are interested, I'd probably join in, but I'm also ok hanging out with Deena and Nicole and the others to skipped this year. It's good company.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Aw, Tom stopped believin'.

I put my 3' tree up a week ago. I got the lights working 3 days ago. I still don't have any ornaments on it. That just might not happen this year.

I am almost done with shopping. I need to buy some frames to go with the new portrait requested by the family and I have to find a birthday present. I'm still waiting on a couple of mail order things and I still need to do cards and a massive post office visit.

I'm afraid my giftee won't receive my gift before the 25th, but it should certainly arrive within the 12 days.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

This is the 2nd year I've skipped the S. S. - mostly because I just drive my self crazy this time of year. I always end up shipping things back to the east coast by 2 or 3 day shipping. This year I did a lot of harry and david type stuff, so it is a little better this year. However, I did find that I enjoyed last year exchange even though I didn't participate. It was fun without the pressure.

and I will join again, but when my brain is a tad less scrambled.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I have my Secret Santa gift almost ready to go. I'll finish up and wrap tomorrow morning.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

:: cuddles in the corner with Laura and Nicole ::

It's been a colourful year. I'm going to have to work myself up to a summary post -- not sure it can be done at one sitting.

But I'm still here, still reading, and still sending out good vibes to my beloved Buffistas.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Can I join that group hug? (It's good to see you, Karl.)
