Do we need to organize a slacker slacker secret santa for those experiencing regrets?
Goodbye and Good Riddance 2007: Heaven's Just a Funky Moose
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2007? Don't think we've forgotten about you.
We already have one, Laga.
we already have a slacker slacker exchange?
Sorry, no. It's late and I didn't scan the repetition.
'cause if enough regretful people want in I'd be happy to sort names. On the other hand if you're just talking about regrets with no desire to actually do the gift exchange please ignore me.
That's sweet of you to offer, Laga. If my (mostly) monetary issues weren't ongoing, I would probably take you up on that offer. (Stupid medical deductible crap at the end of the year. Bah Humbug!)
As it is though, I'll be pleased as punch to live vicariously through others. And I'll make sure that I'm back in for Secret Santa next year.
I don't believe it.
I'm going to have to send that to my coworker who keeps insisting that the Lil Mama remix of Girlfriend is "the jam of the year."
I put my tree up yesterday. I like my tree. I have an artificial tree, for many reasons , including allergies. It is a skinny 7 ft tall tree. It is perfect for my 8ft ceiling house. being a skinny tree - it can go in a lotof places that a wider tree couldn't go.
For the longest time I was a white lights person, but I really like the colored lights that came on the tree. cheery. The big challenge is finding all the plugs to make all the lights come on.
Most of my ornaments are from one of my sisters. She is in the military and has traveled a lot. while traveling, she pick up ornaments for xmas gifts. This year I just chose the ones that had to go on the tree - because they told me so. It means that the ugly plastic sea horse from Malta is not on the tree. Neither is the ugly paper tree I made in kindergarten. But lots of stuff from Japan s on the tree. and so is the Tardis ( ok , it is a red phone booth from england, but Tardis is more fun). Even thought it is most of the decorations are from my sister, some are from my mom, my other sister, and Matt's mom. My christmas tree is like having my family here.
