Very creative! I think that's about three-quarters of the fun of secret santaing--finding ways to find out what your giftee likes/wants.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2007: Heaven's Just a Funky Moose
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2007? Don't think we've forgotten about you.
Were there any gifts lost in the mail? I'd love to pinch hit again if need be.
I'll volunteer to pinch hit as well, I was generously gifted by substitute santas last year and would like to pay that forward.
As far as I can tell, from contacting all the Secret Santas whose giftees are still giftless so far, they all intend to mail their gifts, so the very lovely offers of replacement-Santas will probably be unnecessary.
It's like year round Christmukkah!
This has not delayed the ritual kick to the curb of 2007. kicks year once more
kicks year once more
and again
Number!
What? I was just looking at the thread name wondering if there were still some ungifted persons and it hit me. 500! Whoot!
There are still a few not-yet-gifted people, and their Super Slacker Santas assure me repeatedly (for, lo, I am a nag, who keeps mailing and asking) that they may slack, but the gifts will indeed be sent, and soon.
Oh! My package was waiting for me at the post office this weekend—a satchel with cool velcro patches of various genre shows and my beloved hapless Bruins. Thanks Abbi!
