Ah! See, I knew I would forget something!
I *used* to be almost from Philly (Bucks County) and am hoping to move the family back to that area next summer. So, yay!

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2007? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Yay fruitcake!
I'm waiting to try some tomorrow, since I already had ice cream for dinner tonight. But Thanks! Anne!
I haven't tasted it yet but I can already tell you it smells ten times better than the best fruitcake I ever had.
Amy, my Mom is in an "independent living community," Ann's Choice in Warminster so perhaps we can get together when I visit her after your move!
I'm going grey for a couple of days, and I think it's time to let Big D off the secret santa hotseat... glad you like the treats and that they made it in time! I figured that the DMV would probably make it onto the List...

My guess will be Sox
It's because of the haiku
It could be d though
serves me right for reading good riddance first!
Quester!!!! OMG!!!
First of all, I should mention that this box arrived yesterday, but I'm not very bright and so I didn't notice it was addressed to ME until this morning (it was waiting in the lobby of my building).
But this morning I saw that it was, in fact, mine, and so I brought it upstairs and, as I said earlier, OMFG!
It is FULL OF AWESOME GOODIES! There are yummy chocolates and travel bath goodies and pens with my name on them, and a turtle ornament (we don't have a tree, but that doesn't mean I don't have places to hang turtles), and some bath toys and a bib for Dylan, and fun little wind-up things, and turtle stickers and a turtle pencil and a pretty little travel jewelry box and a scented candle (which I shall light later, perhaps near the tub), and...probably at least three or four other things which I shall remember as soon as I go back into the other room where they're all spread out on the table. And even the BOXES are handmade and gorgeous. Color me unbelievably touched and impressed.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Oh, and a matching scarf and socks! See, I knew I'd left something out.
I'm eating the heart-shaped chocolates now. Nom nom nom.
Yeah! I'm glad it got there! and that you like it!
I sort of take the scatter-shot approach to gifts, lots of little things in the hopes that some of it will amuse and get used.
I think I literally bought every orange thing I saw. Not such a popular color this time of year. It was a lot of fun to shop for!
The little green turtle in Dylan's box is a finger puppet, by the way.
Oh, and the note cards, did they make it into the box? I packed it in a panic when I realized how late the date was.
THIS is what I love about Xmas! Really, seeing or reading in this case, people's reactions to the gifts is what makes it for me! thank you for making it for me, Jessica!
Sekrit Santees, do not despair. My gift did get in the mail today, although I promptly found one other little thing I planned to include.
I won't get my mail again until next Saturday.
I think my gift went out today... well, that's what I've been told. I'll have no t'internets until early January I think though, so I won't be able to squee until then if my gift arrives. Merry Christmas if I don't get onto the internet before Christmas!
Yep, the note cards were in there, and the mints and the "Delete" erasers, and the finger puppet. So many fun little bits and pieces!
