I like pancakes 'cause they're stackable. Ooo, and waffles 'cause you can put things in the little holes if you wanted to.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Strip clubs in California--18 or 21?

Customer or performer?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Customer or performer?

Suddenly I think that performer must be 18 because of people working their way through college and that customer can't be older, but where does sense come into it?

I was wondering customer.

Might it be a drinking age thing?

(I agree that performer the minimum age would be 18.)

Ann, that's a ferret.

Feel better, shrift.

If I ran an establishment that served alcohol (and that includes a restaurant that serves beer), I'd feel very uncomfortable employing anyone sub-drinking age in any position with access to alcohol. But I've never run such an establishment, so I may be totally off base here.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Happy belateds Jesse and Theo!

I hope all the LAistas are feeling better and home and well rested.

I'm having really tough holiday hangover. 1st one without my grandparents, didn't get enough time with my sisters, nearly spent Christmas Eve by myself and no family at all on either day.

And, for the sad cherry pit on top of the depressing-ass cake, one of my best friends moves to Sydney Saturday. Tonight is the last time I'll see him for a while.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sorry, Daisy. That does sound rough.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm mostly just feeling sorry for myself because H is leaving this weekend. He, K and I have been friends for over 15 years and never not lived in the same city except for when K moved to Virginia, and H and I...didn't handle it well.

I moved to Texas and within 2 years, the both of them were out here with me.

On the bright side-free place to stay in Sydney! Plus internets! We'll still keep in touch!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Am at work. Much to do before I leave for New York tomorrow.
