I was hoping to work for at least a few more hours before going home sick today, but I don't think I'm going to make it.

Parents Just Don't Understand, Jesse.
True, true.
I just realized that the work I have to get done this week mostly has to wait until tomorrow. So I've done most of what I can for the day today. Now all I can do is sit here and try not to eat all the candy on my desk!
Go home, shrift!
I have a Bad Evil Cold, but am at work, because end of the year is a busy time in the land of HR. I felt so bad when I got home yesterday that I went to bed at 8 and slept until 6 this morning. That helped.
I am actually doing work. shocking.
well I am also doing personal stuff.

From last night:
Does eBay have gift cards?
Yes, it does--I gave one to my sister for Christmas. I picked it up at the gift card center at my local grocery store (which was well-stocked with everything from Home Depot to Bed Bath & Beyond and Macy's).
I was so sad to hear about Benazir Bhutto on the radio this morning, but I wasn't shocked--if that's being cynical about the status of opposition leaders in volatile regimes, so be it.
So much for 45 minutes. Going home now.
