Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Did anyone watch The Practice last night? I fell asleep and missed the last fifteen minutes.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Mike Huckabee has been very charming on TDS, and I always think I like him until I look at his actual politics. Then not so much.

Yep, same here. Charming man, very likeable, shame about the voting record.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I only watched Coundown and Dirty Jobs last night--I haven't seen The Practice since its first season, I don't think.

All of my ballot issues have been decided, and I can get other things done this afternoon--yay! And, since I got in so early, I"m outta here by 3:15.

I don't agree with Huckabee on very much, but I respect him and am less scared by him than I am the rest of the GOP field. I mean, I think most of his views are wrong-headed, but I believe he's sincere and well-intentioned in his wrong-headedness. Giuliani is the one who scares me most, because he seems at least as dictatorially inclined as Bush and twice as smart.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I think Huckabee is exactly what he seems. Which is the religious-right/social conservative candidate -- but he's not presenting himself as something he isn't.

Giuliani is the one who scares me most, because he seems at least as dictatorially inclined as Bush and twice as smart.

Give the dude some credit. You've only upped his intelligence to "small domestic pet" level, there.

(And in case it's not clear - agreed. He's a scary, scary man, with much greater chances than the Ron Pauls of the world.)

What is the plural of the word "gas"?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Gases

Eta: it looks wrong now, but I think it's right.

That's my problem. Apparently both gases and gasses are acceptable, but I'm wondering if one of them is a UK spelling.
