I saw Ron Paul on the Daily Show and they seemed to have a pretty friendly interview.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Again if you look at the links upthread - he has ties to the militia movement, the people who want to overthrow the government by violence because it is not right wing enough. He does not believe any amendments to the constitution after the original bill of rights are valid. He has compared people who blow up IRS buildings to Ghandi. He has said at one point that 95% of black men in Washington D.C. are criminals. (Though he "took it back".)
Ron Paul did well on both TDS and Colbert by only talking about Iraq (where his views mostly line up with left wing talking points).
thanks for the links you guys! I'm passing them on to my friend.
He is the most visible candidate around here right now. Bumper stickers, signs, and a billboard. I think there is a small pool of fervent support. I've also seen some Hillary bumper stickers. It's too early for most of the candidates to start showing up, so I expect the bumper sticker presence to change dramatically.

I saw a ton of signs supporting him when I was in Asheville last month.
Mike Huckabee has been very charming on TDS, and I always think I like him until I look at his actual politics. Then not so much.
Did anyone watch The Practice last night? I fell asleep and missed the last fifteen minutes.

Yep, same here. Charming man, very likeable, shame about the voting record.
I only watched Coundown and Dirty Jobs last night--I haven't seen The Practice since its first season, I don't think.
All of my ballot issues have been decided, and I can get other things done this afternoon--yay! And, since I got in so early, I"m outta here by 3:15.
