Man, I'm tired. Completely useless day at work. I think that the only reason the university offices were open today is because they couldn't force us to take vacation time if we wanted it off.

And I'm tired - - the tiredness of somebody who should have taken time off months ago and didn't. I felt very bad complaining to my friend who has been working on a nasty project that she knew would be bad and time consuming etc and has probably spent less than 10 hours in her own home in the past two weeks. But I want to complain - because I spent a useless day at work when I could have been lounging at home.

It's so aggravating to be at work just because you have to be there, not because there's stuff that needs doing. A poor use of your time, chosen by someone else.

OMG. Associate dude I bitched about this morning just spent half an hour in my office trying to get me to find something he finally had to admit he didn't understand himself.

It wouldn't have taken that long, but he left in the middle to wish some of the paralegals Merry Christmas.

I think the Chirstmas spork is too good for him.

People are annoying.

I'm packed, and it's worse than I thought. I got rid of my big suitcase years ago, so I'm bringing three bags to my parents'. Mostly full of presents, because I took no consideration of size or shape when purchasing. Like a dumbass. My clothes are totally shoved in crevices between the presents. I'm thinking I'll jettison one bag at the folks', since I don't use it much....

Gracie! Allyson! Hi. I've yet to meet the babies in person. I'm totally jealous. Maybe next week. And I think it's pretty much a given that Allyson is awesome.

I bought my first Christmas present today! And started to do the first step in moving: Threw away a bunch of things I really don't need at all.

The picture of Allyson and Grace is wonderful! But no gingerbread man pics? SAD.
