I find it interesting... I know that reality programs are "unscripted", but isn't there someone writing some kind of copy for them? Voiceovers, or something? I'll eat my hat if Ryan Seacrest does all his little intro snippets on the fly. Are those writers not unionized?
One of the articles I read, Aillean, said that reality shows use a lot of non-guild writers.
That's one of the issues they're striking over, Aillenne. They're claiming that the producers are ignoring the rules.
