Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Cream of Rice...

ION, my first Mommy Blog post is up. What have I gotten myself into?

(I'm still playing with the layout. It's not going to look like that for much longer if I can help it.)

Trust my rage

Well, it'd be hard to have a class-action lawsuit for being overpaid.

I know this sounds correct, but it's more than having been overpaid. I don't have a legal theory about it but it seems more complicated than simply accepting money you knew you weren't entitled to.

Either way, the situation really sucks and I'm very sorry.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Shit, Kat, I'm so sorry. That's a load of bullshit right there.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

They didn't just install SAP, did they?

Can you hear me laughing bitterly from this far away? Being that an SAP installation fucked over my ex-company and was a big factor in them having to cut back personnel to make up for the loss, thus leading to my layoff?

No, not bitter at all. :: knuckles whiten :: Not at all.

I don't have a theory either, but at the very least, there's somethiing very fishy about, "We screwed up, so you have to pay us back. And if you can't pay now, we'll make you pay interest on the money you got because we screwed up."
